2009 SNEAK PEEK
Retro Core is a stand alone, single board, embeddable computer in a module form factor. It gets its name from being just the core components of the Retro Computer System. By only providing the necessary base components Retro Core offers a smaller, highly flexible, and more cost effective design.
The IOPA (Input/Output Port Adapter) Chips are bus compatible peripheral devices that add general purpose input and output pin capability to the Retro line of computer systems. They contains two 8-bit data ports with the ability of all pins being individually assigned as an
input or an output. This totals to 16 individual general use I/O pins allowing the computer system to also act as a controller.
